Australian scientists have come to interesting conclusions: it turns out that children raised in same-sex families have not only better health, but also closer contact with their parents than children growing up in traditional families. However, experts warn about the existence of the reverse side of the medal: more than 70% of these children in the future are faced with a lack of understanding of society.
These results were obtained in a survey of 300 same-sex couples and their children. In most cases these were lesbian couples, the rest were homosexual. Compared to children from traditional families, children of same-sex parents had 6% better health.
Studying the behavior and mental state of children from such families did not reveal any abnormalities. Perhaps the reason for this is that same-sex couples are trying as much as possible to maintain a harmonious atmosphere in the house, correctly distributing responsibilities.
