The celebration was to be adorned with the performance of a famous German singer, a former participant in the Modern Talking duet, Thomas Anders. However, the performer did not appear at the wedding. The reason for this is the non-payment of a fee of 3 million rubles.
Representatives of the star said that neither money for the performance, nor the reservation of a hotel room had been provided. Anders refused to go to Russia until the agreed amount was received in his account. Having received no money, the singer said that for the first time he encountered such a poor organization of the event. The singer noted that he was not going to return to the 90s, which, as you know, were famous for their scammers.
Speaking about the details of Anders’s visit that didn’t take place, the singer’s representative said that the people who invited them did not give any specifics, except for the duration of the performance - 7 minutes. However, for some reason Thomas was blamed for disrupting the promised highlight of the wedding.
As a result, the celebration was held under the performance of the capital's cover band Luxury Band, three half-hour performances of which cost the newlyweds half a million rubles.
