What little girl in childhood did not dream of being a queen? It is unintentional to meet the handsome prince in the courtyard, rush off with him on a white horse into chic palace chambers. And then sit on the throne a sort of proud ruler with a golden crown, in a brocade dress with a long train and receive overseas guests. Only no one in childhood thought about how it feels to wear a crown, sacrificing personal life for the benefit of their subjects, for the benefit of the state.

For modern queens, life is not as fabulous as they would like. Endless official receptions, charity trips, a strict daily routine. But even with a crazy schedule, there is always a place for your favorite activities, and each queen is special, as are their stories.

Grandma of the Nation: Queen Elizabeth II

Elizabeth II, although she grew up in a royal family, did not think that she would become the ruler of England. Her uncle was supposed to be the heir to the throne, but he, inflamed with feelings for the beautiful girl, refused the title. After the death of the grandfather king, the throne passed to the father of Elizabeth. So unexpectedly, Elizabeth became a princess. She will become the queen later, after the death of her father, already being 5 years married to Philip.

The princess met her future husband in a privileged school. Philip was a poor student with a rich royal family tree, and no one saw him as a princess. But Elizabeth achieved her goal: she herself made a marriage proposal to her lover. He is still not a king, but a prince-consort, and not the fabulous pages of the Queen’s marriage are connected with him (connection with Elizabeth’s cousin, several illegitimate children).

Elizabeth II rules since the age of 25. For 61 years, she proudly wears the royal crown. By the way, before the coronation, she trained for more than one week to wear a three-kilogram crown on her head.

The Queen of England is madly in love with dogs, of which she has divorced a lot. Elizabeth II meets every morning with a cup of tea with her favorite Corgi. At breakfast, she invariably looks through fresh newspapers, in which, among other things, she reads a column about horse racing. Horses - this is another favorite hobby of the royal person. The queen is a frequent guest at the races.

Elizabeth loves animals so much that she even takes a bath with her favorite toy duck, which is jokingly called the heiress of the throne.

Each day is like a groundhog day: getting up at 8 in the morning, morning tea, breakfast and newspapers, reading letters and answers to them, signing government papers, and then a two-hour reception of diplomats and ministers, during which you can’t sit down ... In the evenings, she discusses issues with the Prime Minister, and dines with the entire royal family. The queen falls asleep closer to midnight.

Elizabeth II prefers restrained outfits, but chooses bright colors. Hats in tone became a classic attribute of her outfit.

The most beautiful queen on the planet

The queen of Jordan has a completely different fate. Rania was born in a simple family, and met the prince by chance. Being a very educated and ambitious girl, she dreamed at the age of 22 of a leadership position in the Jordanian representation of Apple. Hearing the refusal, she went to the local Citibank, which belonged to the king’s son-in-law. It was there that she first met her prince Abdullah. Love at first sight soon ended in a wedding.

Rania did not want to become a queen, realizing that putting on a crown, she says goodbye to a quiet family life. But after the death of King Hussein, Abdul inherits the crown, and from that moment the most beautiful queen on the planet, 29-year-old Rania, ascends the throne.

Rania is a wonderful mother of four children, with whom she shares all their hobbies (re-read all of Harry Potter, for example), helps boys in the evenings with lessons, and daughters with sweet pastries. She tries to show children the other side of life, the life of ordinary people.

Despite its eastern features, Rania is like a western supermodel. Elegant, sophisticated, she prefers to dress with Armani, who considers her his muse. And her favorite shoes are made of pure gold.

The eastern queen never wore a veil. All 14 years of her reign, she actively defends the rights of Eastern women, helps compatriots to do business. Her projects include educational, family protection, and medical projects. The Queen "does not forget" to communicate with citizens on her website, personally answering questions from her beloved citizens.
