Although the New Year holidays stretch for almost two weeks, That same New Year's Eve is one. And people try to celebrate this night especially solemnly, because as you celebrate the New Year, you will spend it. An integral attribute of any festive evening is an outfit “in theme”, and New Year is no exception. Any eccentricities are permissible on this fun night, so why not put on some intricate carnival costume to cheer up the company of friends?

Do Russian women like this idea? Are they going to hit loved ones with an unexpected outfit or will they celebrate the New Year in a bathrobe and slippers? The Women's Opinion portal presents the results of a survey designed to find out what Russian women are going to wear on New Year's Eve.

9.9% of Russians will definitely wear a carnival costume. Holidays in our lives do not happen so often, so you need to seize the moment and come off to the fullest. Unfortunately, the respondents did not specify whether they would be wearing a Snow Maiden, Snowflake or Snake costume.

The same number - 9.9% - want to dress up their children and, possibly, arrange for them a small masquerade ball and a competition for the best costume. Such children's balls are a good New Year's tradition, loved by little Russians. As the survey showed, most women do not consider New Year to be a reason to wear a carnival costume, but to dress up or dress beautiful children - why not!

And 44.1% of women, although they don’t wear a carnival outfit, will celebrate New Year in a new dress specially bought for the holiday. Fortunately, today there is no lack of choice in stores.

Well, 36.1% of respondents do not think about holiday clothes. They are going to celebrate the New Year surrounded by close relatives, and this is not a reason for them to dress up in a special way.

Astrologers give some recommendations on how to celebrate the year of the snake: preference should be given to dark blue, black and emerald color. The dress should be tight and as long as possible - imitating the skin and body of a snake, a symbol of the coming year. Jewelery and catchy jewelry are welcome. But the main thing is a sincere company that will not let you feel sad and will throw an original desire, which should be made under the chiming clock.

The survey involved 3130 respondents aged 20 to 45 years. The survey was conducted among residents of 120 cities of Russia.
