Yeast donuts can be called classics of the genre. And what have you never wanted to taste donuts from an American film? But if not, then you are a hero. And we are very !! So we decided to try one of the options for donuts to cook at home. It’s best to make donuts on the basis that they will be eaten right away, because the next day they lose their special crispy taste on top and the inside is soft.

Let's cook together. To do this, you need to be patient, because the dough is yeast, it needs to rise.

Ingredients:

Milk - 100 ml;

Flour - 2.5 - 3 tbsp .;

The yeast is dry - 10 g;

Sugar - 3 tbsp. l

Salt - a pinch;

Vegetable oil for frying - 250-300 ml.

Recipe:

To use yeast properly, carefully read the instructions on the package. Dry yeast is usually immediately kneaded in the dough, you do not need to make a dough separately.

Therefore, choose a large bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of flour, salt, sugar and yeast.

Add warm, but not hot milk and stir well.

Now you can add 2.5 cups flour and 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil.

Knead the air dough, which should stick to your hands. Cover it with a towel and leave it in a warm place for 1 hour. To make this procedure faster, you can use the “glued oven” method. Before kneading the dough, turn on the oven, as soon as it heats up to 120 degrees, turn it off. When the dough is kneaded, place it in a bowl in the oven turned off. The dough will rise in 20 minutes.

The dough is airy, you need to knead it. We take it out of the bowl onto a table sprinkled with flour and knead it so that it does not stick to our hands. We just left half a glass of flour. This should be enough, but even if it’s not enough, add the flour before. The amount of flour depends on various factors, so blindly follow the amount, not for this recipe.

Divide the dough into 2-3 parts. We work with one, the rest are covered with a towel. Roll out the dough to less than 2 cm thick. Cut donuts with a glass. You can make a hole inside, or leave the rounds.

We leave the finished donuts on the surface sprinkled with flour for another 1 hour. They should rise well. You can again put them in a heated and turned off oven.

Fry the finished donuts in well-heated vegetable oil in a pan or deep fat fryer. They quickly become rosy. Therefore, do not go far during frying.

We take out donuts on a paper towel.

When serving, sprinkle the donuts with powdered sugar. Everything, you can try. Enjoy your meal.
