What is yellow peeling?

A new procedure that promises an amazing result and a solution to skin problems in a gentle way.

Yellow or retinol (retinoic) peeling is a type of chemical peeling of the mid-surface category.

The effect is comparable to the deep action of the active substance, so mild that the procedure is not prohibited for owners of sensitive skin.

Principle of action and active substance

Despite the fact that many put an equal sign between retinol and retinoic peeling, it differs. The first is based on retinol, that is, vitamin A, which in the skin turns into retinoic acid.

When a certain concentration is reached, collagen begins to be actively secreted, the dermis is updated. Outwardly, this is manifested in excessive peeling.

Then, from the obtained retinol, the epidermis replenishes the consumed reserves, and everything starts again.

The second peeling is based on synthetic derivatives, namely retinic acid, which is consumed all at once. Therefore, peeling with this procedure is short-lived, the effect comes faster.

Beauticians advise giving preference to retinol.

In the process of accumulation and consumption of acid, skin self-regulation works, that is, a natural process occurs. This minimizes the likelihood of burns and inflammations.
Indications for use: acne, rash, comedones; scars and scars, pigmentation; low skin elasticity.
Contraindications: pregnancy, lactation, inflammatory diseases, eye diseases, with allergies to drug components.
The effect of the procedure: pigmentation, scars, scars disappear, skin tone improves, the work of the sebaceous glands normalizes, pores are cleaned.
The result remains for a long time, so the procedure is carried out no more than once every six months. Offer more? They cheat, because retinoic acid acts quite aggressively and often it is not worth exposing the skin to its effects.

Stages of the procedure

You need to start with a consultation where you can choose the right procedure, the active substance and the expected effect. It should be noted: this procedure requires preparation, unlike other types of peeling. It is necessary to cleanse dead skin cells for deeper penetration of the active substance. For this, fruit acid based products and fatty creams are used. A cosmetologist may include a preparatory phase of lung peeling depending on the age and condition of the skin. At this stage, you should refuse to take sunbathing.

Now directly about how the procedure goes.
1. Cleansing and degreasing of the skin.
2. Protection of the eyelids, lips of the eyes with petroleum jelly in order to prevent the active substance from reaching sensitive areas.
3. Glycolic acid treatment to remove dead cells.
4. Application of retinoic acid.
Another feature of this procedure that is worth paying attention to. From the salon you have to go home with a yellow mask on your face and keep it from 4 to 12 hours! After the cosmetologist’s team, you will need to wash off the mask with water and apply a special restoring cream.

Care

The procedure is done, but to maintain the result you need to follow the rules.

Strongly impossible:
- accelerate exfoliation mechanically (hands, sponge) and scrubs;
- sunbathing;
- go to the bathhouse, saunas and expose the person to steaming in another way;
- go to the gym for enhanced training, during which begins profuse sweating.
For skin care, you should wash yourself with water or chamomile broth, and also use creams with SPF.
